0:01 Welcome, everyone, to our first video in our Everboarding series. Today, we're going to be discussing model capabilities and features across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Copilot.
0:12 As many of you know, in the world of AI, this technology can change so fast. Our goal with this video is to ensure that you are updated on the strengths and weaknesses of each model so that you can leverage the very best model possible for your task at hand.
0:30 Starting off with personalization. Remember, personalization allows you to set custom instructions so that your digital teammate can truly become an extension of you, where it understands your context, preferences, and working style.
0:46 Here, ChatGPT takes the lead because of the vast personalization features that it offers. You can personalize the characteristics of the model, custom instructions, as well as personal details about you.
1:03 And remember, with personalization, this gets injected into your prompt every single time, so ChatGPT always has this context about you anytime you interact with it.
1:15 Gemini, unfortunately, does not have this feature yet, so it gets the red X. Copilot, you see here, has one star for personalization because it does have this personalization option, but it is very rudimentary.
1:30 You can come in here, set those custom instructions, and then this gets injected into your prompt every single time. But you don't have as much variety in the details that you can add to your personalization.
1:44 Claude also has one star here, and that is because it is also basic, like Copilot. You can set your personal preferences, and these get injected into the prompt every single time. But again, it's limited in the details that you can add here.
2:01 Moving on to Managed Memory. Managed Memory is where you add more specific details for your digital teammate. This can be things like your company tagline or slogan.
2:13 You see here, ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude all take the lead with three stars, as they all have very functional Managed Memory.
2:24 So, you see here, if I go into my saved memories in ChatGPT, all of these things I've either asked ChatGPT to save in Managed Memory for me, or it's decided that this information is important enough to save.
2:38 If we go to Claude here, it acts in a similar way, where you can turn on memory, and then, when this feature is enabled, anytime Claude thinks that memory or information you've sent it is important, it can save it to Managed Memory.
2:54 You can also tell Claude to save something to Managed Memory, and that will trigger it to save that information.
3:05 Copilot is similar, where you can turn on that feature, and based on you indicating to the model that something should be saved, or the model deciding that it's important, Copilot will save it to Managed Memory.
3:20 When we come to image generation, Gemini takes the lead. Gemini has a very advanced image generation model, and in my opinion, and in the opinion of many others at LearnAIR and throughout the internet, the quality of the images is superior to the other models.
3:40 I love this example. This is from a chat that I created. I wanted Gemini to generate this detailed diagram with lots of different text and structure.
3:50 You can see that I uploaded my drawing, and Gemini returned the exact drawing. You can see the proportions across the image are exactly as I had them here.
4:00 The text is exactly as I uploaded it, and it nailed the colors that I inputted here. From there, I said, "Now I want you to act as a creative director with expertise in digital graphic design. I want you to enhance this visually in an appealing way while staying consistent with our brand."
4:13 From there, I uploaded additional brand assets and colors.
4:22 And wow, look at that output. With just three iterations, it created something phenomenal, consistent with our brand, and accurate to the information I wanted to convey.
4:32 So, very impressed by Gemini. ChatGPT and Copilot are also good. The other noteworthy case is Claude. Claude generates its images using SVGs, or Scalable Vector Graphics, which means that it actually codes the image.
4:48 You can see that's why, in this image that gets produced here in Claude, the parts look pretty geometric.
5:00 The unfortunate case with this is that you can't download that image directly. It's saved as an artifact within Claude, and you can share that artifact.
5:11 Moving on to digital teammates. This is one of the most powerful applications of these AI models, where you can create what we call digital consultants that have expertise in a particular SOP, workflow, or intellectual skill set.
5:28 For this, all of the models win here because they all have this functionality, but in unique ways.
5:39 Looking at ChatGPT, you see that to create this digital teammate, you input the name, a description, special instructions, which is where your persona framework will live, as well as conversation starters, knowledge in the form of files, and then capabilities.
5:52 When we come to Gemini, you see that a lot of those features are still here. The capabilities that you want to give it are in the form of the default tool.
6:04 You have that knowledge section. You have the instructions, which is where your persona framework will live, so it's quite similar.
6:13 When we look at Copilot, you see again the instructions, where your persona framework will live, as well as your knowledge section. This can be uploaded as a URL or as a specific file.
6:24 And you can turn on capabilities from within the Microsoft workspace.
6:38 Finally, with Claude, Claude is a more unique case in how they've defined these components of a digital teammate.
6:38 You can either add it as a Skill if it's something that's more workflow-oriented, or you can add it as a Project, where, within the Project's instructions, you paste in your persona framework so that anytime you interact with that Project, it's coming from the perspective of the persona that you want it to embody.
6:56 So, you see, with Claude, you have to get a little more creative, but you definitely have lots of options for your digital employees.
