AI Adoption Programs That Stick: Why Training Alone Fails

AI training can give employees knowledge and confidence. But training alone does not ensure that new behaviors become part of how an organization works.
In this webinar, we’ll explore what it takes to move from AI usage to sustained organizational adoption. Through real LearnAIR-supported adoption stories, we’ll examine why AI initiatives often stall when training happens before the technical, governance, and organizational foundation is ready, and what companies can do differently.
We’ll look at the roles IT, HR, leadership, and internal AI champions play in helping new ways of working take hold. We’ll also explore how champion teams can move beyond simply encouraging AI use by identifying successful use cases, documenting them, and turning them into repeatable, company-wide workflows.
Finally, we’ll discuss how leaders can measure adoption beyond logins or training completion and evaluate whether their current AI adoption plan has the structure, ownership, and reinforcement needed to make change stick.

What you'll learn:

  • Why AI training is only one part of adoption, and the difference between individual AI usage and a lasting change in how work gets done.
  • What needs to happen before training begins, including IT involvement, governance, workspace setup, permissions, and technical readiness.
  • Why AI adoption must be a company-wide effort, with leadership, HR, and IT aligned rather than one department carrying the initiative alone.
  • What an effective AI champion team actually does, including protected time, workflow documentation, measurable goals, and turning successful use cases into organizational standards.
  • How to measure whether adoption is actually happening, by defining meaningful outcomes, setting expectations, and assigning ownership for ongoing measurement.
  • How to evaluate your current AI adoption plan and identify what may be missing before, during, or after formal training.

Who this is for:

Business leaders, managers, HR and learning professionals, AI champions, enablement teams, and others responsible for helping their organization adopt AI effectively.
Whether you are planning your first AI training initiative or looking for ways to build on training already underway, this session will help you think beyond the classroom and toward the broader conditions that support lasting adoption.
No technical or coding experience is required. The focus will be on people, leadership, change management, and organizational AI enablement.
