If you have good working prompt in one of your previous chats + good output and you want to access that through slack or share to teammates. You can start with that workflow. If not, the next steps here still works.

In ChatGPT (Business+ tier), open the Agents / Workspace Agent builder, paste your DIRECT© design as the instructions, and give it a name. It's a teammate, not a bot. Add the sample output if you have one. Tell the agent to refer to it before delivering response.

Connect the tools it actually needs (Slack, Gmail, Calendar, Drive) via your org's connectors.

Test it with 3 real requests before relying on it. Save a memory note for anything it gets wrong so it improves.

D — Doing: The recurring task this teammate handles (e.g., draft sales emails).

I — Information: Traits, skills, and background that shape the persona.

R — Role/Persona: Who it acts as (e.g., "an experienced sales director").

E — End Goal/Result: What good output looks like, every time.

C — Context: Your company, your boundaries, and what it must never do.

T — Tone/Style/Output: How it should sound and format its work.

Then paste that design straight into the agent builder as its instructions.

I: Knows our offers, our tone, and our common objections.

R: Acts as an experienced sales director.

E: A short, ready-to-review draft with a clear next step.

C: Never promises pricing or timelines without human approval.

First request → first draft: "Draft a follow-up to [prospect] from today's call." → returns a 120-word draft for the rep to review and send.

 instead of spinning up a new one per job.

 a sales-email drafter, a calendar researcher, a chief-of-staff inbox-triager, a content developer. Different roles, same build.

 and review its output until it earns broader access exactly. 

Be deliberate about connector scopes (read vs. read/write); only connect what the teammate needs. 

Disclose AI wherever it interacts with people. 

No client names or confidential details in shared examples.
