SUMMARY
This video introduces ChatGPT Pages as persistent, collaborative workspaces inside Spaces. It shows how Pages can serve as a living source of truth by pulling from connected tools, updating on a schedule, organizing information with subpages, adding dynamic visualizations, and supporting team collaboration through sharing, permissions, and mentions.

00:00 Hello everyone, and welcome to today’s video, where we’re going to talk all about Pages. Pages were introduced at Dev Day alongside Spaces and things like Dots, and Dev Day brought a lot of changes to ChatGPT’s UI.
00:19 One of those changes is this Space button that you’ll see on the left-hand side. I want you to think of a Space as an AI-powered Google Drive.
00:27 Within that drive, you have various assets, and one of those assets is a Page.
00:36 A Page is something you’ll use in ChatGPT whenever your task is persistent or something you need to refer back to.
00:46 The cool thing about Pages is that they can be set on a schedule so they are automatically updated, meaning you’re always viewing the most current version.
00:57 A good use case in my work is creating a Page for our learner and seller tier “know-and-be-able-tos.” We’re in the process of developing this seller enablement hub, and it’s something we’re constantly having conversations about as we continue updating our products.
01:15 What I want to do is create a Page that establishes the current standards and processes, while also adding an automation so it stays updated.
01:31 If another teammate needs to come back and reference it, this can serve as our source of truth. In today’s video, I’m also going to show you some helpful tips, tricks, and little hacks for using ChatGPT within your Page.
01:47 To start, I’m going to use this little magic wand button. This is how I bring AI into the Page to help collaborate with me.
01:57 I’m going to click that magic wand and ask ChatGPT to look through my recent Spinach conversations.
02:08 The goal of this Page is, first, to establish what each of these tiers looks like, but then also to ask ChatGPT to delineate the “know-and-be-able-tos,” meaning the learning objectives and learning standards that will help guide the content of the final assessment for each level.
02:26 So I’m going to send that. You can see here that it went into our meeting tool for context and pulled the information we’ve discussed for each of our tiers.
02:45 It also returned those “know-and-be-able-to” bullets as I requested.
02:58 This is great. I’m going to accept this, and I’m also going to set up a schedule that asks it to check our meetings on a weekly basis to see whether any updates have been established that should be reflected in this document.
03:14 If it finds new agreements or decisions we’ve made during our meetings, I want it to come back here and make sure this document stays up to date.
03:28 You can see here that I’ve written that prompt in natural language for my scheduled task.
03:37 I’m having it check Spinach AI, which is our internal meeting tool. Whenever you interact with ChatGPT here, it isn’t necessarily updating the Page directly in that moment. Instead, it can serve as a digital colleague that you can ask questions of and have perform tasks for you.
03:56 You’ll notice that it’s in Work mode while it’s interacting with you, which makes it more capable of carrying out multi-step tasks.
04:04 In this case, that means going out, searching Spinach, and then creating that scheduled task for me.
04:15 You can see here that it just finished going through that process and has set up the scheduled task to regularly refresh this Page.
04:28 That’s why I describe this as an AI-powered Google Drive. It can automatically help make sure your assets stay up to date.
04:37 You can also verify that the schedule is correct and that the instructions align with what you want it to do.
04:44 The cool thing with these newer models is that even when we provide a fairly general prompt, ChatGPT can often turn that into much more precise instructions about where to look and what to update.
04:57 You should still review those details. If everything looks correct, you can go ahead and close out of that.
05:06 And here we have it. This was truly created in AI time. In just a few minutes, we already have something that reflects the conversations we’ve been having internally and, more importantly, something that will remain worthwhile because it can serve as an updated source of truth for our team.
05:28 Now, just a few final tips and tricks. The first is that we can actually add nested subpages within this Page.
05:38 Say I want to add more detail about Tier 1 and give it its own Page. I can type a slash and then select “Page.”
05:50 This creates a subpage. I can title it “Tier 1 Details.”
06:00 When I come back here, you can see that Page nested within the larger Page. This is a really nice way to organize complex projects or larger documents.
06:08 Another thing you can do with the slash button is type “visualize.”
06:19 This allows you to add dynamic visualizations. For example, I could say, “Create a visualization that shows the seller’s accomplishments on the x-axis and tier level on the y-axis.”
06:31 Then I can send that visualization request. I may also add some visual design instructions here because, right now, it looks pretty plain.
06:43 But just to give you an idea, you can see that this is dynamic. As I hover over different elements, different information appears.
06:52 And even with the fairly vague prompt I provided, it followed what I asked it to do.
07:01 So you can see that there’s a lot of potential here for anything you need to visualize.
07:09 The final thing I want to highlight about Pages is that ChatGPT is increasingly becoming a place where you can collaborate with your colleagues.
07:17 If I come to this Page, I can share it with someone like Michael.
07:33 I can choose whether he should be a viewer, commenter, or editor.
07:42 And once Michael has access to the Page, I can actually tag him within it, and he’ll receive a notification.
07:53 So this becomes a really interesting way for humans and AI to collaborate together and get work done.
08:02 Hopefully, after this video, you can envision a project or use case for Pages in your own work.
08:08 And hopefully, you learned a few ways to use Pages more effectively.
08:13 Thank you so much for watching, and don’t forget the human part.
